Could you clarify whether it is a cross-border transaction if the sender and the receiver are in the same county but a bank in a 3rd country is used in the transaction?

If both the original sender and the ultimate receiver are in the same country, then it should not be considered as a cross-border transaction, even if a bank in a third country was used.
