Question
Controlling the data for sending the Critical Functions Report (âTâ Templates) for reporting period 31. December 2021 in CNB, we established that there is a discrepancy between the currently valid SRB validation rules (Version 1.0) and EBA ITS 3.1.1 validation rules in the part related to FINREP Tables. Also, we noticed that the last changes in SRB validation rules was made on 28. February 2021, while the last changes in EBA validations was made later (30. June 2021).
In example below, the discrepancy was found in SRB validation rule related to the Report T_20.02 (control SRBDQ_0103) which compares the data from FINREP Table 04.04.1 (whose sum does not include column 0041) while the same column is included in the total amount of loans in FINREP Table 05.01.
We draw additional attention to the fact that, adhering to the currently valid SRB validations, we will unfortunately not be harmonized with the FINREP Tables submitted to the CNB for the reporting period on 31. December 2021 because the FINREP Tables was made and harmonized with the current valid EBA 3.1.1. validations.
We kindly ask you for a feedback whether to take in into account the column C0041 from F04.04.1 (would be harmonized with FINREP Tables and EBA validations) or to follow the currently valid SRB validation rules and have differences?
Response
The banks should take into account c0041.
The validation rule should be:
FINREP table 04.04.01, row 130, columns 015+030+040+041 minus table 05.01, row 120, column 005.
