Question

In B02.00 is it acceptable for either c0110 Applicable fees and charges and c0410 Fees and charges per security to use assumptions and proxies as a first step for assessing fees and charges?

Response

Yes, the use of proxies or estimates is allowed also for Applicable fees and charges (c0110) and Fees and charges per security (c0410), provided that the estimates are determined in a comprehensible, appropriate and prudent manner, and properly documented to the IRT during the resolution planning phase. Please refer to paragraph 23 of the MBDT Guidance.
