Question
Since the field c0020 can be an “internal identification number”, the level 2 validation rule v_2_0001 for B.02, should be reconsidered as follows: If the ID is an ISIN (c0040 =”ISIN”), the the ID reported in c0030 must have the characteristics of an ISIN, e.g. 12 characters and start with 2 letters signifying the ISO country code

Validation rule v_2_0001 in fact applies to data field 0030, i.e., the unique ID known to the counterparty as indicated in in column D. Please read the explanation in column K as follow: If the ID is an ISIN (c0040 = ISIN ), then the ID reported in c0030 must have the characteristics of an ISIN, e.g. 12 characters and start with 2 letters signifying the ISO country code.
