Question

The instructions state ‘if the instrument does not qualify as own funds, this cell should be left blank’. On the other hand, the drop-down menu contains a value of ‘no’, which to us would indicate an instrument not qualifying as own funds. Therefore, should we select the value ‘no’ or leave the cell blank?

Response

Blank values will not be accepted for this particular cell. Hence, the report should read any of the list values, i.e. 'No' if it does not qualify as own funds, disregarding the guidance on this cell.
