Question


Mathematical Validation Rules (T01.00_V0050/T01.00_V0051) does not work with empty cells. We had to fill the empty positions with “0” (zero). However there are no indications in the SRB-Guidance how to deal with empty cells.  


Response


The guidance specifies when a cell can be left blank by the reporting entity. When not specified, the SRB expect the reporting entity to fill the respective cells with the relevant amount. In this regard, empty positions should be filled in with a zero amount.
