Question
In the guidance, in the T98.00, r0050 you say : Please do not use ‘Member State/country report’.
Could you explain why shouldn't we use the value Please do not use ‘Member State/country report’ in the T98.00 r0050 ? Which value should we use for a report by country ?
Response
Country/Member State reports should not be identified in T98. They are identified for each specific function (T.20.01, T.20.02, T.20.03, T.20.04, T.20.05), whenever the field "Country" contains the name of an individual country.
For example, if the bank submits at consolidated level (T98 r0050 "Consolidated") a country report on deposits in France (T.20.01, Country = "France"), this is a "Country/Member State report" for that specific country. This report should contain all the bank's activities (irrespectively of the location of the entities offering the service) related to deposit taking in France.
