Question
"Earliest Redemption Date" field is now mandatory in the detail tabs T05 according to the new taxonomy (ldr_v0080). On the other hand, it is not indicated which default value to fill for the deposits without ending dates.
Should we indicate in this case "2099-01-31" as in T04 and T06 ? Or the reporting date + 1 day ?
Response
If no specific maturity is stated in the instrument's contractual terms, these are considered as 'on-sight' or upon close of business 'overnight'. As such, the maturity should be reported as the next day as compared to the reporting date, e.g. 2018-01-01 for an overnight instrument reported on 2017-12-31.
