Question


About production of the T01.00 templates (SRB) is required the filling of "covered deposits" defined as: “r0110 - Covered deposits (BRRD art. 44/2/a) Covered deposits, which are defined in point (5) of Article 2 (1) of the DGSD, including a minimum amount and some exceptional and temporary ‘high balances’.” The similar row of the Z02.00 template (EBA) defines Covered deposits as follows: “The amount of covered deposits as defined in point (5) of Article 2 (1) of Directive 2014/49/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council12, with the exclusion of temporary high balances as defined in Article 6(2) of that Directive.” How should the two different requests be interpreted in the event of reporting from Significant Banks?

The SRB files (T01.00 and T02.00) that replace the EBA files (Z02, Z03) for those entities within the SRB remit, should be completed in line with the 2019 LDR Guidance.
